a red and spicy version of hummous
Ingredients for 2 people:
200g of precooked chickpeas
100g of red pepper
1 tbsp. of tahin
2 tbsp. of chilli oil (or 2 tbsp. of oil + 1 pinch of chilli powder)
1 garlic clove
1/2 tsp. of salt
1 tbsp. of lemon juice
1/2 tsp. of paprika powder
- Rinse the chickpeas in cold water and tip into the food processor. Add peeled garlic.
- Halve the red pepper, remove the seeds and cut the pepper into small pieces. Put it in the food processor. Add the tahin, 1 tbsp. of oil, salt, paprika powder and lemon juice.
- Turn on the food processor. When the mixture is fully combined and smooth, tip it into serving dishes. Top it with 1 tbsp. of oil (and for example with some corn grains or parsley)
