While Trixilie was having a lot of fun with butterflies (they had a fly-race) I tried to draw the last pictures for Trixilies book. I would like to finish her book on 04/07/2016, because her mother´s birthday is in that week (the exact date is a secret, that Trixilie doesn’t want to tell) and Trixilie really likes to celebrate her mother´s birthday. So please cross your fingers 🙂
At breakfast I asked Trixilie what she had played with the butterflies the day before and she said “Most of the time we just flew around, but at some point we also played hide and seek or tag.” And suddenly her eyes sparkled and she asked if we could play hide and seek now.
Uuuuhhmmm… There are not so many places to hide for me in my flat and million places to hide for a little fairy. So I decided that we could play hide and seek, but she would hide and I would seek AAAND each time in just one room. Trixilie jumped happily around…. of course 😉
We began with the bedroom. I was in the kitchen and counted loudly to ten and Trixilie hid. Then I went into the bed room and started to look for Trixilie. I really thought I would seek for hours (she is so little and there are so many places for her to hide) but after some minutes I heard a silent giggling. So it was easy to find her 😉 I told her that I found her because of her giggling, but this didn´t matter to her. For her, the fun is all that counts 😉
The second round was in the kitchen. I counted to ten, Trixilie hid in the kitchen and I seeked… and seeked… and seeked. I seeked her in the fruit bowl, behind the curtain, in the cupboards, between the bread and so on. But I found no Trixilie. I think after 10 Minutes (it felt much longer) Trixilie started giggling again and the sound came from the basil. And yes Trixilie was in the basil… so cute 🙂
Wednesday started really funny. For breakfast Trixilie and I had a few raspberries. Okay, Trixilie had a lot of raspberries and I had some of them in my muesli. Because she sits on the plate when she eats she had some raspberry juice at her hands, dress and feet. I like to listen to classical music in the morning and on the radio was the Viennese waltz from Johann Strauss. Trixilie likes this waltz a lot and started to dance on her plate. It looked really lovely. She was totally lost in the music. After the music stopped we saw her art work. She calls it dancing spots.
And this dancing spots are also a part of her book 😉
On Thursday, Trixilie and I had a wonderful day at the market and in the park. The weather was wonderful until midday. Then it was too hot for me, so we went back home and had a lot of fruit ice (like last week) and we baked muffins. I know it sounds a bit crazy to say the weather is too hot and then to bake muffins. But to mix the dough is really easy and the heat of the oven is just in the kitchen and I don´t have to stand nearby the oven. So I like to bake muffins on hot days, too.
The advantage of muffins on hot days is to have little sweets. Because of all the tea, water, ice and fruits I needed something with more… substance. Trixilie wanted to bake the carrot-nut-muffins from the book vegan Muffin-Art. She loves the taste and the little picture-recipes.
I chose to have the marble-muffins with coconut-cream. When Trixilie saw my muffin with the coconut-cream, she screamed really loud: “You cooked snow!” With these words Trixilie jumped into the cream.
hahahaha…. This little fairy is magnificent. 🙂
Because I liked to eat the muffin without a little fairy, I placed a lot of cream on a separate plate and invited her to play with the cream.
She played skiing…
and created a snowangel…
After her snow-play, we ate the cream with the rest of the muffins, because first I don´t like to throw away food and second when Trixilie and I prepare food, Trixilie always cleans herself from head to toe. So the cream was still clean and delicious. 😉
Friday was an incredibly hot day. We had 34 degrees and I don´t like such a hot weather. I mean, my body doesn´t like this hot weather, so I laid down and drank a lot of luke warm tea. Trixilie asked, why I drank so much of it and I explained that I read that this is good for the body at hot weather, because first your body needs a lot of water and second your body can handle better with luke warm temperatures of drinks. What are you doing at hot weather? If you like, write a comment below, we are so eager to hear!
The whole day Trixilie was so adorable (okay, she is most of the time 😉 ) and tried to make some cold “wind” with her little fairy wings. It was more fun than cold. I laid on the floor with my legs up on the couch, so my head was on a pillow on the floor. Trixilie stood on the pillow with her back to my face, fluttered really fast with her wings, and I got a mini bit “cold wind” in my face. After a few minutes she was so exhausted and fell down on the pillow. We started giggling like little school kids. It was so hilarious 😉
After we stopped giggling (it was really hard to stop, because a giggling fairy is so cute and funny both at the same time 🙂 ) Trixilie saw my peppermint tea and asked if it was also good for a little fairy. I hardly could say “Probably, yes.” before Trixilie dove INTO my tea mug and had a bath IN MY peppermint tea. We started giggling again… it looked sooooo great, this little fairy in my mug…
Oh yes, I will miss her tons, when she will have moved in her new home soon.
Saturday 25/06/2016 and Sunday 26/06/2016
On the weekend Trixilie and I had a lot of indoor picnic. We had breakfasts in bed, told each other a lot of stories and adventures we had. It was great. We laughed a lot 🙂 And at lunch and dinner we sat with a few pillows on the floor of the living room and enjoyed our meal.
Between the meals we also sat on the floor and created this wonderful bracelet. It took a lot of time to string all of the beads and to create the bead patterns. But the result is wonderful. I like it 🙂
How was your weekend? We hope you could enjoy it 🙂
We wish you a lot of fun.
P.S. from Trixilie: eat rainbows 🙂
P.P.S. from Bea: If you like, please tell us how you cope with hot weather.
